Party FAQs

OCR Waivers

We require a WAIVER in the name of EVERY CHILD playing on the obstacle course if they have not been here before.

PLEASE PUT YOUR CHILD NAME’S FIRST!

LIST YOURSELF AS EMERGENCY CONTACT.

Once their waiver is completed you will land on waiver completed page.

WAIVER HACK: You can use the same parent email address for multiple children by using parent+1@gmail.com, parent+2@gmail.com, parent+3@gmail.com

Arrival Procedures

Arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start of your 90-minute party.

Check in at the front desk, where a staff member has a few questions for you.

Head into the gym where you will be shown what table is yours, put your stuff down, relax and wait for your guests to arrive. You will also meet your trainer for the party.

Once your party is over, we require the use of our table for the next party. BUT, feel free to stay an additional 30 minutes during our Open Gym time if you are not quite ready to leave yet.

Itinerary

The first 30 minutes of your party is spent on the obstacle course with an experienced obstacle coach. You will learn techniques and the best way to complete each obstacle.

You then have 30-40 minutes of free time on the course.

After the first hour, you have 25-30 minutes at your reserved table to enjoy pizza and any desserts you may have brought.

Your coach is available to help out with food, and any organization you may need for cake or desserts.

Adult Guests

We offer 2 dedicated adult spots for each party.

Other guests are welcome to hang-out in the OCR cafe, although it may be busy depending on the day.

Attire

INDOOR SHOES ARE A MUST! NO outdoor shoes are allowed on the course.

You can go in your socks if shoes are forgotten, but our obstacles are made of wood, so socks make the obstacles just a tad more slippery. This increases the difficulty and thus the child may not enjoy his or her time as much. Shoes help with grip and protection of the feet.

Don’t forget to wear/bring comfy clothing you can easily move around in, and sweat in. Sportswear is ideal, but a t-shirt and sweatpants/shorts work well too.

Liquid Chalk

Liquid chalk is recommended for everyone on our obstacle course. It contains 99% alcohol, helps with grip, protects the hands, and is good for approximately 100 uses.

The cost is $8 and is available at the front desk. One bottle will be enough for your group’s needs and beyond.

Food

We provide our own pizza in house. Each pizza is 13 inches in size and has 8 slices. You will get at least 2 slices for each child. We offer additional pizzas for $15 each.

Please do not bring in outside snacks and drinks aside from reusable water bottles.

We also have plastic cups if you forget but kids do get thirsty so please remind your party attendees to bring one. We sell sport drinks and other drinks in our Café area for a reasonable price. We provide cutlery, paper plates, and napkins.

For desert, most parents choose to bring their own cake. We also offer delicious OCR salted chocolate chip cookies for purchase if you’d prefer.

Unused Passes

If you do not have the number of children that were expected at your birthday party, that is okay. We give you free passes to come back to our Open Gym time at a later date in replacement so the money is not lost.

Cancellations

You may cancel your party with a full refund up to 10 days prior to your party, after that the refund can be used as a credit towards our other services that we offer.

Tips

We do pay our student employees minimum wage. In today’s current situation, minimum wage is not enough for a lot of these students to pay rent, and feed themselves, so they do rely on tips.

If you love the food, and the service, the best way to show them that you appreciate the effort they put into providing your child with an awesome party is with an awesome tip.
