Comparing yourself to others or believing you’re not good enough only holds you back. It keeps you stuck, unfocused, and disconnected from what truly matters—becoming the best version of yourself.
We live in a digital world. If you’re reading this, you’re part of it. A world where likes and comments can feel like validation. Is my hair good? Is my outfit nice? Is this moment worth sharing? You post it, and if the likes roll in, it must be good—right?
But think about real life. Would you constantly ask, Hey Richard, is my hair okay? Is my outfit nice? Is this a good moment? It sounds ridiculous when put that way. Why should a tap on a screen or someone else’s approval define how you feel?
Ask yourself instead: Do I like my hair? Do I feel good in my clothes? How do I feel right now? That’s what matters. Relying on outside validation is a waste of your time and energy—period.
Do you need their approval to move forward? What if no one ever complimented you again? Would the world stop? No. The sun will still rise, the moon will still set, and life will go on.
At the end of each day, ask yourself: Did I do my best? How can I improve? Stop worrying about what others think. Focus on yourself and what you can do to grow.
